Generative learning objects (GLOs): design as the basis for reuse and repurposing

In this session Prof. Tom will deals with reusable learning designs at ‘lesson plan’ level. The presentation builds on the work of the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) in Reusable Learning Objects. The RLO CETL has produced nearly 200 multimedia learning objects (RLO-CETL 2008). 


 Dr. Thoms Boyle is Director of the Learning Technology Research Institute (LTRI) at London Metropolitan University. From 2005 he has been the Director of the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) in Reusable Learning Objects, a programme involves collaboration between three universities - London Metropolitan University, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Nottingham
